Kisha, Kisha be bi bo beesha....

I'm so happy i have my friend back, it was a very awkward when she called me to say hello, I wasn't expecting it .....I told her that, she was surprised....i felt stupid for thinking that our friendship was over, we decided to put "the incident" behind us. As the conversation progressed, our groove was found and boom, we were good again. ------this happened maybe a month ago, when i was in my 'what is blogger?' phase, we hung out last month in our usual Chaguanas...had lots of fun, laughing, running around crazy, her shopping and me looking like the boyfriend.....we talked .....we are good now....I learned that friendship doesn't just happen....you need to work for it, you need to work at it....

Last week i was absent from the office.....it was the best week ever, apparently I was chosen to represent my company at an Elearn conference that was held at the Hyatt in Port of Spain. This wasn't my first time there, maybe you remember my friend Kisha's office party, it was held there...i was dumbfounded, for lack of a better word, of how high class the place is, and especially how well trained the staff is....this time wasn't any different, i was still taken aback. I am a very anti social person by nature, quiet, introverted....i don't know why every time i'm chosen for this sort of direct interaction with customers thing....but i pulled it off, with a fake smile and a pretend sense of confidence , I stepped into that display booth and ruled it. I actually had lots of fun.....meeting all sorts of educational people.....teachers, principals, deans, etc....I spoke with such an ease-- in my mind it was like someone else had taken over my body, I did my demonstrations, laughed at jokes made, gave away stuff....I grew....now i am really feeling more confident.....I guess it pays to pretend.I got free tea and lunch....it was impressive the first day, but the second day the food was very disappointing....i can't get over the fruit juice though, it was fresh and so yummy.....i swear i drank like 48 glasses in my 3 day stay there......now i'm feeling for some . I have some pics to post of it and the view of the POS harbour i had from my booth. It was very very beautiful, i would have never guessed that dirty POS could have this view tucked away within it.All in all i had a great time there, and my superiors are very impressed with my report...so a big pat on the back for me....AWESOME!!

I've been brainwashed...

I used to hate 80's music, but now*gulps* i like it....yes 95.1 and their way back Wednesdays has finally gotten to me. Now i know Journey, Starship, The bangles,Poison, Chicago, Mike and the Mechanics,Phil Collins,The Smiths,U2,INXS and all those other big haired, making up wearing, androgynous lead male singers and their bands......i know the words, i hum the tunes, i feel emotional when i hear the sappy love ballads, i tap my feet at the dance hits, bob my head to the rock hits, and i sometimes give the impromptu "what the hell is he saying" look to my co worker when i hear rock the cazzbox, or rock the chazbox, or catbot...i really have no idea what the hell the man is singing...but i like it..lol...So color me 80's which would probably be black with bright redand lots of eyeshadow...lol...

I changed, i switched it up and I'm finally comfortable.....this is the look i want for my blog, not to dark not to happy, just right. Today i'm gonna try to post more often and with that, I'm off to bed, tried like hell, below is some of my headers i used before, just for old times sake.
