After all this time
I still want to be with you
more than anyone else
I still want to talk to you
before anyone else
I still want to laugh with you
Walk with you
Read with you
Play with you
be quiet with you
be noisy with you
make plans with you
discuss the past and the future with you
You are still the person who makes me
happy, content, excited and peaceful
And after all this time
our love not only prevails
but is stronger than ever
